I'm a graduate student in statistics at Kansas State University and working as a graduate research assistant. I completed my bachelor's degree in statistics and computer science. The passion for a career in data science drew me to enroll in a Ph.D. degree in statistics.

My research interests include spatio-temporal statistics, data fusion, hierarchical models, Bayesian statistics, machine learning, linear and non-linear modeling. I love programming and have a firm grounding in R, Python, SAS, MINITAB, and MySQL. I also have experience in Java, C++, and cluster management tools/AWK in Linux/Unix environments.

I love analyzing data to find insights into the patterns in data. It is exciting to find solutions to real-world problems and improve people's lives using patterns you find from data. My research, industrial and teaching experiences helped me improve professional, technical, and leadership skills that I consider valuable assets to achieving my future goals as a statistics/data science professional. Apart from studies and work, I love participating in activities/events on the campus and the community. I love dancing, cake decorating, sewing, playing badminton, and traveling. I also get involved in community service groups and volunteer as much as I can, as I believe every little contribution has a large positive impact on society.
